Weighing the Pros & Cons
I have had a lot of mixed feelings lately about my life… Once again, I’m at a fork and don’t know where I’ll end up. I feel like I need to take a step back and look at my life.
CONS (aka: shit I’m not happy about)
- I am fucking unemployed
- I have applied for close to 50 jobs in past month and have only gotten ONE call back.. for which I interviewed for, but didn’t get the position
- I’m REALLY broke, for said reason
- Because I am broke, Russ and I have had to put a lot of things on hold.. most importantly, buying a house…
- I really hate feeling responsible for holding us back from our plans
- I am finally trying to get off of my antidepressants (been taking them for 6 years) and my body really hates me for it. You have no idea
- I have been having panic attacks WEEKLY
- I am really unmotivated because I seem to have shit luck.. so my house is a disaster….it’s driving me crazy
- I really REALLY want to get a photography job, but that requires new equipment which I cannot afford… not even close
- I’M FUCKING UNEMPLOYED! sorry, it’s just not a good thing
PROS (aka: stuff that keeps me going)
- I have an absolutely wonderful husband. He gets irritated because I am sucking his bank account dry, but he is still supportive and patient. He’s basically my everything, no joke <333
- My kitties make me smile
- I’m not dead… and neither is anyone else I love
- I have great friends/family who make me laugh
- It makes me happy to know I have a lot to look forward to.. I know it will all fall into place eventually, it just doesn’t seem like it right now
- Ice cream always helps
- Music definitely plays a role in helping me not stress the FUCK out
- I’m still young.
- OK… I’m having a hard time counting my blessings
well. the CONS beat the PROS by a couple, and some of my pros were just BS. I hate that 2012 just began and I’m already complaining. Hopefully soon my list of CONS will be much, much shorter
